A Ghanaian woman named Gifty Brown has shared her rags-to-riches story, divulging that she sold meat pies to buy a G-Wagon car.
The CEO of Cooker’s Delight disclosed while she was speaking with renowned Ghanaian blogger Zionfelix in an exclusive interview sighted by GH Page.
She noted that, at the moment, she has an expensive G-Wagon car, and the money she used to purchase the car was made from selling meat pies. She shared that “the pastries are what bought my G-Wagon car. It was the meat pie”.
Taken aback, Zionfelix questioned how selling meat pies could purchase a G-Wagon car, and she said, “Let’s assume I used to sell pies of 4 to 5 pieces every day. Now, I can sell 500 pieces in a day, and that is without any special orders.”
She stated further that, “Most of the banks and companies buy from my restaurant every day. My place is always packed, even on Sundays.”
She revealed that a pie costs 15 cedis and 20 cedis, insisting that the business is so lucrative that, through it, she was able to purchase a G-Wagon.
