The Inspector General of Police’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team has arrested a woman seen in a viral video wearing a Ghana Police Service uniform.
The suspect, identified as Esther Obasi, was featured in a widely circulated social media video wearing official Police camouflage gear and a standard black Police uniform.
Preliminary investigations revealed a link between Obasi and a serving Police officer, who was subsequently invited to assist with inquiries.
During questioning, the officer stated that he had given the suspect the uniforms to wash for him.
